keep in mind that it takes a minimum of 30 days do get any piece of legislation passed

take the stimulus bill as an example
that was a slam dunk and look how long it took to get it passed
and thats with an almost filibuster proof congress!!!

obama is promising things that are going to take much longer than his 4 years are going to be able to outlast
this year alone the federal budget is effing 1.7 trillion dollars and he is projecting that he is going to cut that in half by the end of his term
at the moment, our total debt is a tad under 11 trillion, add 1.7 to make it 12.7, take 1.7, divide it by 2, add them and divide that by two to get an average yearly expenditure of .85 trillion and multiply it by 4 to get an approximate value of how much he is going to spend in his term = 5.1 trillion
now take the average federal income of a little over a trillion, about 1.3, multiply by 4 and subtract the spending
if obama can do what he says in 4 years, we will actually reduce our debt by about a hundred billion dollars
